You can understand when it is time to maintain the air conditioning system when the system is not switched on, when the blown air is not sufficiently cold or when unpleasant odors emerge in the passenger compartment.

It is advisable to top up the GAS every 2 years, taking into consideration the fact that:

• every year we observe the evaporation of about 20% of the refrigerant gas
  
• over time the pipes and fittings of the entire system can become loose and cause refrigerant gas leaks
  

There are two types of conditioners:

• Manual: the driver sets and manages the temperature and air flow using special knobs
  
• Automatic: the air conditioner itself independently manages temperature, air flow and humidity based on pre-set parameters
  

But the principle of operation is the same: the hot air sucked in from the outside gives heat to the refrigerant gas, lowering the temperature and losing moisture which is discharged to the outside, thus refreshing the cockpit.
